Chris has always been a little rebellious. Whether he was bringing home critters or testing the limits, he has always been fascinated with the world and how it works. With 25 years of baseball under his belt he quickly realized his field of dreams were not likely to materialize. Design was the perfect career to foster his curiosity and rest his ailing joints.
At university Chris dabbled in English, Psychology, Art History and Fine Arts. Looking for a more hands-on education (and less reading) he enrolled in the Design and Advertising program at George Brown College. He graduated in 2000, awarded the Top Ten Portfolio Award.
Professionally Chris has continued to create award-winning work. Over the last 8 years he has developed identity and branding systems, promotional material, environmental graphics, publication design, motion graphics and interactive design. He has worked with a broad range of clients in areas including government and professional services, health care, construction, transportation, retail and publication.
In his spare time Chris enjoys his family, all things Italian, gardening, is a home-schooled cook/foodie and is painstakingly learning to play guitar.
The closest he gets to a golf course is on his iPad. He is a believer in design thinking (beyond marketing) and its contributions to sustainability and innovation. At the core, Chris is a problem solver who never lost his ability to look at the world with a childish perspective. Of course being short helps.
