The Programs for Assessment of Technologies in Health (PATH) research institute is a division of McMaster University and is run by Researchers, Faculty and Students of the school.

PATH consists of multiple research programs in the area of economic evaluation and health technology assessment (HTA). PATH’s mission is to improve population health by conducting and promoting evidence-based evaluations of the effectiveness and efficiency of new and existing health care technologies.

PATH is funded by grants from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the Federal and Provincial Government.
