The Law Office Management Association (TLOMA): Advertising Campaign
Through our brand positioning and messaging work, the Association wanted to develop a new campaign to reignite the excitement around being a TLOMA member and supporter, reaffirm the benefits of the organization and sponsorship, and increase awareness of the Association in the legal community.
Cubicle Fugitive worked closely with the TLOMA board to develop a new positioning, messaging, and visualization of the brand. For TLOMA’s advertising campaign, we wanted something dynamic, interesting, and fun. We sourced and customized famous movie and television quotes for headlines and incorporated clever and engaging copy to clearly articulate the member and sponsor benefits. Headlines included “there’s no place like TLOMA”, “nobody puts the office manager in the corner”, “of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world walk into ours”, and “where everybody knows your name.” These, and several other headlines, were carried across the Association’s ads, home page banners, pop-up banners, mail outs, sponsorship and membership materials. Cubicle Fugitive not only developed copy and messaging for the Association’s advertising campaign, but also for their website, brochures, and member and business partner collateral and sales kits.

Through the visualization of TLOMA’s refreshed brand we developed a new colour palette for each SIG and incorporated these into the visual display of the headline, the new swoosh brand element, and text highlights throughout all the marketing materials. We created a full brand system and helped to train the Association on how to implement and use this throughout all of their communications.
Following the initial ad campaign, we were commissioned by TLOMA to help develop a campaign targeting current members to “Refer-A-Colleague” to the Association for new membership. The campaign included an e-alert that went out to all current members and business partners to spread the word. Cubicle Fugitive also worked with the Association to produce a postcard that could be distributed at all Association events and a co-branded gift card that was distributed to everyone that referred a new member.
