Little Peoples Daycare is a licensed childcare centre for children ages 12 months to Senior Kindergarten and for children ages 6-9 on PD days, school holidays, and during the summer months. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Little Peoples Daycare has been a pillar of the community since 1974. It all started with a single classroom at their associated facility the Peoples Church Sunday school by a small group of women with a passion for childcare. As interest among the community grew, Little Peoples Daycare expanded in 1977, into a new daycare wing offering 6 large classrooms then later increased in size in 2012 to 10 classrooms.
Built on the vision of promoting a loving and caring Christian environment, children are valued as capable and competent. They provide high-quality care for children with Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years four foundations of learning: Belonging,
Well-being, Engagement, and Expression. The educators at Little Peoples Daycare are experienced and compassionate individuals who care about the well-being of children. Some have even been part of the daycare for 20, 30, and even 40 years.
With the daycare’s strong commitment to the community, they accept children from all walks of life and from parents who are unable to afford expensive daycares. Each year, Little Peoples Daycare also hosts several events giving families the opportunity
to engage with their children and create memorable experiences.
One of the daycare's largest selling features is their facilities which include warm, colourful, and inviting classrooms with art murals and paintings on the walls, an outdoor playground, a splashpad for the warm summer months, an auditorium, a gymnasium,
and much more. They also continuously expand and upgrade their facilities with plans to accommodate children with disabilities and limitations in the future.
With the economic impacts from the global pandemic, The Little Peoples Daycare approached Cubicle Fugitive for assistance in designing and developing a website that will help further promote their facility by increasing awareness and registrations.
