Paliare Roland: Social Media Templates

Over the past several years, Paliare Roland, one of Toronto’s most respected litigation boutiques, has made significant strides in building its brand presence on LinkedIn—a platform that has become increasingly important to many firms’ communications strategies. As long-time partners in Paliare Roland’s marketing efforts, Cubicle Fugitive has supported the firm through nearly every brand touchpoint, from websites and microsites to brochures, campaigns, and advertising.
In 2025, the firm approached us with a new ask: a fresh set of social media templates that better reflect their evolving digital presence.
While their existing materials were on-brand, they felt visually inconsistent and lacked the polish and professionalism the firm is known for. The templates varied in format, relied heavily on landscape layouts, and often contained a disproportionate amount of information for the visual space, particularly in posts celebrating team achievements. In short, the firm’s existing visuals were no longer reflecting the calibre of their work or the strength of their team.
A Strategic and Thoughtful Refresh
To begin with, we conducted a full audit of the firm’s existing social media content. We assessed not only the visual identity and formatting of previous templates but also the types of content the firm was most frequently posting. This allowed us to build a strategy around the templates that would offer more flexibility, visual cohesion, and greater impact while also streamlining the posting process for the firm’s internal team.
Our goal was to create a refreshed suite of modern, professional, and easy-to-use templates that would elevate the firm’s social presence while staying true to its established visual identity.
Designed for Consistency, Accessibility, and Ease of Use
Based on our analysis, we created a comprehensive set of social media templates sized at 1080x1350px, optimizing for mobile viewing and accessibility. To ensure flexibility and longevity, we developed designs to accommodate a wide range of content, including:
- Firm-wide awards
- Individual and multi-lawyer recognitions
- Speaking engagements
- Articles and case studies
- Event recaps
- Job postings and new hires
- Notable dates
To support a variety of messaging needs and audience engagement strategies, we incorporated a mix of static, carousel, and lightly animated post formats. Each template was designed using the firm’s established fonts and colours, and built to align seamlessly with the clean, contemporary visual style we’ve developed across their recent advertising and digital work.
To streamline day-to-day use, we also built a fully loaded Canva brand kit for the internal team, complete with logos, brand colours, fonts, and lawyer headshots. Everything was organized for ease of access and long-term sustainability.
A Practical, Positive Impact
The feedback from Paliare Roland has been positive. The templates have improved the efficiency of the firm's marketing workflow, giving their marketing manager more time to focus on strategic initiatives rather than day-to-day content creation. The designs are flexible, intuitive, and easy to use, and the firm has already been putting them to great , sharing updates on LinkedIn that are polished, professional, and true to the Paliare Roland brand.
