Chaitons LLP: Website 2020

In 2019, Chaitons LLP approached Cubicle Fugitive to redesign their new website. Having worked together on the previous site and enjoyed the process fully, the firm wanted an updated image online.

With a solid understanding of the firm, it’s people, practices and clients, we went straight to work reimaging the firm’s brand online. The firm’s no-nonsense approach to law carried over into their refreshed brand image. Desiring a new website that was clean and minimalist, the firm wanted to strip away any extraneous details and enable users to quickly find and access the information they came for.

Opting to prioritize the mobile experience, we moved towards incorporating clean and concise hamburger menu that enabled users to access all pertinent information in the website, however, in a much more direct manner.

The homepage features a parallax design of intersecting lines, that reflects purpose and perspective, along with animated headlines that embody the values and identity of the firm. Minimalist yet dynamic, the homepage allows the firm name to take centre stage. We further refined the firm’s headlines to include a new positioning messaging through the animated banner “No egos. No drama. Just results.”

Already built upon the enterprise Sitefinity CMS, we were able to seamlessly upgrade the platform to the newest version and reimagine the brand in a new iteration. Users are invited to quickly access lawyers and the firm’s news and events. Opting to prioritize the mobile experience, we moved towards incorporating clean and concise hamburger menu that enabled users to access all pertinent information in the website, however, in a much more direct manner.

While much of the firm’s content remained the same from our previous brand positioning and website development process, we were able to instead focus our efforts on incorporating interesting design details and parallax animations to delight the user. Always valuing function over form, we continued to ensure the firm’s bios, service pages, and resources were easily accessible on all devices and for all users.
