Bergmanis Preyra LLP: Advertising

We worked with Bergmanis Preyra LLP to design a poster that would be placed in hospitals alongside the firm’s car accident guide brochure. The layout contains a rounded corner at the bottom of the poster which mimics the firm’s logo. By softening the hard edges, a more approachable feel is created. This simple design element is now used as a point of visual differentiation throughout their brand.

The headline, “No one expects to be in an accident”, speaks to the feelings someone may have after being in an accident, and answers their question, “How did I get here?”, while also offering Bergmanis Preyra LLP as their solution. The byline “you focus on getting better – we’ll do the rest” allows the injured victim to maintain their quality of life and reinforces that the firm will take care of them.

This simple design element is now used as a point of visual differentiation throughout their brand. Over the years, Cubicle Fugitive adapted the branded ad for multiple publications including the Toronto Rehab magazine, a Chinese newspaper, and other sponsorship promotions.

We also worked with the firm to design and develop a Community Safe Streets (CSS) Program poster. The poster appeared in bike shops as a way to educate cyclists about the new initiative, as well as promote their “win a bike” contest, and explain why it was created by Bergmanis Preyra LLP. The design and layout of the poster incorporated the firm brand and the new CSS program logo which featured the firm’s mascot teddy bear wearing a helmet while riding a bicycle. We also designed ballot forms that were paired with the poster so people could enter for a chance to win a bike.
