Smart and Biggar: Stationery Design and Business Cards

With the revitalization of the firm’s logo and refreshed brand visualization in place, Cubicle Fugitive went to work redesigning the firm’s stationery and marketing collateral package.

The firm provides intellectual property expertise to Fortune 100 companies around the world. Making it imperative that the firm’s collateral is professional, sophisticated, and reflect the premium services they provide. That said, with over two hundred professionals and staff at the firm, the materials needed to be cost-effective to produce.

For the firm’s key pieces, we took extra care to design and produce something that would stand-out from other professionals when making a pitch or meeting a contact at an event or conference. 

We worked closely with our premium printers at Flash Reproductions to create an entire stationery system that is beautiful, refined, and premium without any exorbitant costs. As part of the engagement, we designed business cards, letterhead, and envelopes for all the offices, notecards and pads, labels, information sheets, human resource templates, name tags, mail inserts, pocket folders, PowerPoint templates, and other client collateral. With each piece, we designed the end-users needs and created a cohesive package of stationery and business collateral.

For the firm’s key pieces, we took extra care to design and produce something that would stand-out from other professionals when making a pitch or meeting a contact at an event or conference. With a crisp black and vibrant red as their primary palette, we needed to ensure the colours printed in their vibrant hues, and therefore selected Crest’s duplex stock to allow for their Epic Black on one side and Solar White on the other.

To add further interest, we used a transparent foil deboss of the firm’s logo and locations on their business cards and opted for a matte white and a pop of red foil for their logo on the pocket folders. Both pieces anchor the clean and crisp design of their other stationery to create a sophisticated and beautiful package.
