KSV Advisory: Website Design and Development

Project

Visit website View Client

KSV Advisory is one of Canada’s leading financial advisory, restructuring and valuations boutiques. The firm engaged Cubicle Fugitive to restructure and reimagine their new website to better highlight their expertise in restructuring and disputes and valuation advisory. Previously, Cubicle Fugitive had moved the firm’s current website to a new content management platform that was secure and easy to manage internally, utilizing a more robust and administratively friendly platform. It was now time for the firm to refresh their visuals to better represent the caliber of the services they offered.

Working with the firm’s managing directors, Cubicle Fugitive determined that KSV required a website that would highlight the creative, smart and complex work the firm was known for. To achieve this, our team focused on developing two key areas of the site: an experience database and insolvency case section.

By law, KSV was required to post all legal documents relating to their insolvency cases on their website. This amounted to hundreds of documents on their previous site that were difficult to navigate; to improve functionality, this section of the site required the ability to link, toggle and expand for easy use. The Cubicle Fugitive development team knew that a typical searchable, filterable database did not make sense for KSV, so they worked with KSV to determine the needs of this website and find a novel solution, that would ensure the files were easy to manage for internal staff and the external user.

The Cubicle Fugitive development team worked with KSV to determine the needs of this website and find a novel solution, that would ensure the files were easy to manage for internal staff and the external user.

One of the biggest undertakings was the creation of the firm’s new experience database. Having worked with some of the largest companies in North America and on some of the most impressive mandates, KSV needed their website to showcase their work and clients. In response, our team created a new representative work database that interlinks seamlessly with the professional bios and service areas, and is completely searchable and sortable to find any case study at the click of a button.

With the firm’s impressive track record of being involved in high profile mandates, such as Sears Canada Inc., Eaton’s, Imperial Tobacco, Nova Chemicals and The Dow Chemical Company, and Urbancorp, we recommended making the database as visually impactful as possible to encourage engagement. During the discovery process, Cubicle Fugitive became aware that the professionals of the firm were highly invested in their client relationships, and were involved in all aspects of the process. To tell the story of these relationships, we provided KSV with content guidance to help the team highlight their roles and creativity in the featured case studies.

Our team completed the website by rewriting all bios, providing guidance on the drafting of service area content, developing the insights and new section and sourcing photography and visuals that would communicate the premium nature of the firm. We also worked with the firm to develop an interactive archive of the firm’s newsletters since 2019 that seamlessly interlinks with all prior articles, case studies, insolvency cases, news, charitable commitments, and speaking engagements. The result is a stunning website that can carry KSV into their future endeavours.
