Established in 1967, the McMaster Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences (DPBN) has grown to include a multidisciplinary department with over 62 full-time and 225 part-time faculty members. Founded upon the values of innovation, excellence, integrity, and collaboration, the department incorporates clinical care and research with a network of psychiatric services and programs.
With a very successful program in place, the department wanted a new public-facing site that highlighted its achievements, reflected the personal nature of its work, and enabled users to find news, events, forms, guidelines, policies and other necessary information in as few clicks as possible. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Cubicle Fugitive set about revamping the current design and structure to create a site that is both visually appealing and highly-functional.
Working closely with DPBN, Cubicle Fugitive built a new website with improved design and overall organization of content, making the site more aesthetically pleasing, intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly. The end goal of the project resulted in a website that better reflects the department’s focus on innovation and pursuit of excellence in everything they do.
